Hi, you seem to be a 'serum person'. Certainly you can treat B5 gel as lotion if you want, there is no single rule applying to everyone. But for me, lotion/cream is always required to apply on top of essence or serum in order to conceal whatever applied before deep under the inner skin and let them perform their tasks. As you might be aware, the texture of most essence products is rather watery and would evaporate shortly if neither lotion nor cream got applied afterwards.

The texture of this product is kind of falling between lotion and cream, it smells soothing but not artificial. I've paired this cream with Collagen Antiaging Serum plus Restore Skin Lifting Serum at night and Resveratrol Nanocell Serum in morning respectively, my face stays moisturized and nourished for whole night and day, even over the exceptional dryness recently. It takes not more than two to three pumps of the cream to apply all over my pizza face and neck, very absorbable and easy to spread. I got this half-size product in a Christmas set more than a month ago and think it would last for another 3-4 weeks. For me, it's worthwhile for a repurchase.

I have a small tip for those who think this essence sticky and not absorbable. After cleaning your face and applying toner, drip a few drops of the essence, not more than 4-5, in your palm and press your another palm onto it and rub it gently for once or twice to spread the liquid well on your palm and allow the product to get warmed up. Then press your palms onto your u-zone, forehand and neck lightly. This is the most efficient way to deal with essense like this, by doing so, you would find the liquid gets absorbed well and evenly by your whole face and your skin would turn very soft after applying in this way. Just remember never try to rub or spread it on your face with your finger tips.
